Transportation

2017-2018 Bus Information for Grades 3-12

St. Andrew’s has six shuttle bus routes to and from points in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Current routes include:

  • Friendship Heights
  • Spring Valley (Friendship Heights, Chevy Chase and Bethesda)
  • Silver Spring, Wheaton and Rockville
  • Virgnia (Great Falls and McLean)
  • Up-County (Rockville and Germantown)
  • Prince George's County (Bowie)

Bus schedules for the 2017-2018 school year are available at the links below. Afternoon buses run at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to accommodate both regular dismissal and sports schedules, except on half days.

Click the link below to register your child for the shuttle bus. You must log in to the school website to complete the registration.
The one stop that will be affected by inclement weather (snow and ice) will be the Kensington Baptist Church stopIn the event of inclement weather, this stop will be closed. There will be no pick up in the mornings from this stop. You may drop your child off at the Wheaton stop (Westfield Mall, right in front of UPS Store). Pick up time is at 7:40 a.m. A second pick up option is the Grovesnor Metro Stop. Pick up time is 8 a.m. Please check the delayed schedule times for the correct time. We apologize in advance for this inconvenience.

Other Transportation

A combination of the Red Line Metro to the Grosvenor Station and the #37 Ride-On bus or the Red Line Metro to White Flint Station and the #38 bus will take students very near the school.
