Varsity Volleyball is 6-0 on Lion's Court

Lion’s Court in the new Student Center has brought the Varsity Volleyball team good fortune this season.
The team is undefeated, 6-0, at home and 6-3 overall. After winning the ISL “A” banner last year, the team is playing in the ISL “AA” division, which means much tougher competition. The team defeated St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School, 3-2, during Homecoming last Friday and also hosted its first alumni volleyball game on Saturday.

The team plays very aggressive volleyball. It’s fast paced with excellent team play, strong kills at the net and tough serving. Seniors and co-captains, Jenna Schissler and Raylene Parkinson, four-year varsity players, are key leaders and the back bone of the team. They will be recognized next Tuesday, October 25, before the Georgetown Day School home match. If you have not seen this team play, don’t miss out! Their style of play is very exciting.
