Important Admission Deadlines

We use Ravenna to collect inquiries and manage our application process.  
After completing the form, you will have the option to register for any upcoming events.
Admission decisions for the 2017-18 academic year will be posted at 5 p.m. on Ravenna on March 3rd.
 
We will continue to accept applications on a space-available basis. Please contact the Admission Office for guidance at 240-477-1700.

For Preschool I and II

  • Apply

    You may submit the online application at any time until the January 13 deadline, along with the $50 application fee.  

    After January 13th, we will continue to accept applications on a space-available basis. Please contact the Admission Office for guidance at 240-477-1695. 
  • Interview

    A half-hour interview with one or both parents is required.  You can schedule online or by calling 240-477-1700 for more date options. The interview may be combined with a tour.
  • Visit

    The required student visit for pre-school lasts about 20 minutes and may take place before or after you decide to apply.

PreK- 2nd Grade

    You may submit the online application at any time until the January 13 deadline, along with the $50 application fee.  

    After January 13th, we will continue to accept applications on a space-available basis. Please contact the Admission Office for guidance at 240-477-1695. 
  • Interview

    A half-hour interview with one or both parents is required.  You can schedule online or by calling 240-477-1700 for more date options. The interview may be combined with a tour.
  • Visit

    The required student visit for pre-school lasts about 20 minutes and may take place before or after you decide to apply.
     
  • Testing

    For grades K-2, St. Andrew’s requires the WPPSI (ages 5) or the WISC (ages 6 and up), which must be scheduled independently with a tester of your choice in time for us to receive the results by January 13. No testing is required for applicants to PreKindergarten (PreK). Please click here for a list of testing resources.

Grades 3-5

  • Visit

    The required half-day student visit may take place before or after you decide to apply. Visits run from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and include lunch.
  • Testing

    St. Andrew’s requires the WISC (Weschler Intelligence Test for Children), which must be scheduled independently with a tester of your choice in time for us to receive the results by January  13. Please click here for a list of testing resources.

    Please note that St. Andrew’s  does not endorse a particular testing organization. The list is provided for information in order to facilitate the admission process. Please note any test preparation will invalidate the WISC-V test results. These tests may only be given once in a calendar year.
  • Transcripts

    St. Andrew’s requires grades from the current marking period (quarter or trimester), as well as grades from the previous two years.

  • Recommendations

    A recommendation from your child's current teacher is required.

Grades 6-8

    After January 13th, we will continue to accept applications on a space-available basis. Please contact the Admission Office for guidance at 240-477-1700. 
  • Interview

    A parent and student interview is required and may be scheduled by calling 240-477-1700. The interview may be scheduled in conjunction with a tour, if desired.
  • Visit

    The optional half-day student visit may take place before or after you decide to apply. Visits run from 8:30 am through 12:30 pm and include lunch.
  • Testing

    Applicants can register to take either of the following tests: Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT): Register at www.ssat.org with school code 6266.
    Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE): Register at www.iseetest.org with school code 211222.

    Applicants who have had neuropsychological testing within the past two years are required to submit a full copy of this testing in addition to taking the SSAT or the ISEE entrance tests.
  • Transcripts

    St. Andrew’s requires grades from the current marking period (quarter or trimester), as well as grades from the previous two years.
  • Recommendations

    A recommendation from your child's current Math and English teacher is required.  Additional recommendations from teachers, coaches, or friends are welcome.
