Get Ready for the New School Year

Dear St. Andrew’s Families,

Ask your children how many days are left in the school year and they probably know the answer - just 30 days until our Lions depart for a refreshing summer of joy and, hopefully, discovery of new passions and interests. The growth, grit, achievement, and leadership our Lions have shown this year have made us all proud. Thank you for everything you have done to support your children and their dedicated St. Andrew’s teachers, coaches, and advisors this year.

Soon we will graduate the Class of 2024, 96 terrific young adults who have contributed deeply to St. Andrew’s and who will attend a wide range of selective colleges next year. On behalf of our senior class as well as our faculty and staff, I invite you to attend our commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 7 at Washington National Cathedral. I am pleased that alumnus Steven Levenson ’02, a Tony Award-winning playwright and accomplished television and film screenwriter will give the commencement address.

You will find a great deal of information to help both you and St. Andrew's prepare for the 2024-2025 school year on this page. Please review the material carefully, and complete and return all requested forms to St. Andrew's by the indicated due dates.

Please do not hesitate to contact the school with any questions or concerns about the various materials in this communication. In August you will receive a second informational communication which will include reminders and highlights about the coming school year.

Thank you for your strong support of St. Andrew’s, and warm wishes for the remaining weeks of school. I hope that summer will bring your family some respite from the packed schedules and fast pace of everyday life.

Faithfully,

Robert Kosasky
Head of School
