POSITION SUMMARY: This full-time position involves teaching 4 sections of upper school science, including Honors Biology, Neuroscience (if possible), and advising a group of upper school students. Knowledge of teaching lab science with a student-centered approach is required. There are also opportunities to coach sports and/or internal clubs in addition to teaching/advising.

Teach 4 sections of upper school lab science
Advisor to a group of upper school students
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
B.S. in Biology, Engineering, Education, or a similar field
Knowledge of teaching lab science with a student-centered approach
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with fellow teachers and administrators
Skilled at integrating technology as a tool to advance student learning
Preferred:
Previous experience teaching Biology
Knowledge of computer science and/or Robotics
Willingness to coach a team sport or Robotics
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Moving between various classroom and lab spaces
Regular physical activity, including demonstrating lab procedures, moving lab materials
Exposure to chemicals used in biology classrooms

COMPENSATION: Salary commensurate with experience.
Minimum Annual Salary: $65,000
Maximum Annual Salary: $110,000
