Welcome back, parents! We are still buzzing with excitement for the month of May as we continue to dive into our bug and butterfly theme. Here's a glimpse of what we have been up to this month:
Activities:
Nature Walks: We will now be venturing outdoors to discover the wonders of nature, including spotting bugs and observing butterflies- hopefully the weather cooperates this upcoming week :)
Bug Exploration: Get ready for more hands-on fun as we learn about different types of bugs and their habitats- we already learned about the lifecycle of a butterfly and we got to see a cocoon firsthand when PSII students showed us their painted lady butterflies that they got to release earlier this week!
Bug Environments: From gardens to forests, we have explored where bugs live and how they adapt to their surroundings.
Reminders:
Please remember to pack extra clothes and shoes as we'll be enjoying the water table during warmer weather.
Don't forget water bottles and sunscreen for your child's comfort and protection.
Important Dates:
Memorial Day: Monday, May 27th - School will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. Enjoy the long weekend with your family!
Thank you for your continued support, and let's continue to make May a month filled with learning and laughter!
