On Wednesday afternoon, the Middle and Upper Schools honored the life and legacy of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg during a prayer service.
Kelsi Corkran, mother to Caiseal '28 (pictured with Justice Ginsburg in 2017), shared her memories of clerking for the late Justice, recalling the hours they spent together editing her opinions to perfection.
"I can say that she was even more of a super hero in person than she is from far away. Her intellectual rigor, her encyclopedic memory of the law...she is everything you have envisioned her to be and more."
Later that week, students recognized the High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur during the High Holy Days chapel service. At every level, St. Andrew's Spiritual Life program reflects the diverse beliefs of our community. Chapel is one of the many ways St. Andrew's provides a safe space in which students can find meaning, claim their own spiritual identities, and explore their beliefs with humility and openness.
