Intermediate and Middle School Libraries

Unique library spaces loaded with enticing new books and magazines are tucked into the Intermediate and Middle School divisions.  Students in these grades feel ownership over their libraries, readily suggesting new books,  sharing what they’ve enjoyed, and asking for suggestions.  In Intermediate School, library classes are held regularly in third grade, and on a project/topic basis in grades four and five. Highlights include an Intermediate School Young Authors Week, regular visits to Politics and Prose bookstore for author visits, and book clubs.
