The St. Andrew's Boys Outdoor Track and Field Team
The St. Andrew’s Boys Outdoor Track and Field team welcomes athletes of all levels with an emphasis on self-improvement. Members of the team learn the essentials of speed and endurance training, strength building, stretching, proper nutrition, and racing. The coaches tailor workouts to the individual needs of the team members. They adjust workouts to ensure they are challenging enough to produce improvement but not so challenging as to cause injury. While it is the coaches' goal to provide students with a healthy, collegial and fun way to spend their spring, they also encourage athletes to strive for both individual and team success.
During the course of the season, all team members compete regularly at various invitationals and scrimmage meets, culminating with the MAC Championships in May.
In 2009 the team captured the MAC Team Title, and in 2014 the team produced several All-MAC Champions:
1st in the 4 x 400m Relay
