Varsity Boys Soccer
“Take players someplace new;” that is the goal and guiding principle of the St. Andrew’s Soccer Program. The team blends high-level travel players and multiple sport athletes to compete in one of the most demanding private school leagues (MAC) in the area. No matter the level, the soccer program works to maximize each player’s potential toward a collective purpose through technical training, tactical awareness, and mental preparation. Despite being one of the smallest schools in the league, the team has an impressive history, finishing in the top 4 of the league 14 of the past 18 season. The program’s best finish came in 2003 with an 11-2-2 record while winning the MAC Championship and MAC tournament for the first time in the school’s history. Also during this time, St. Andrew’s players have won 41 all-league honors, 3 First team all-county honors, and 3 All-Met selections. In addition, players have gone on to play at several Division I, II, and III College Programs, including the University of Pennsylvania, Emory, Middlebury, Barry University, Mercyhurst, Lafayette, Gettysburg, Mount St. Mary’s, Rollins, Stevens Tech and the Rochester Institute of Technology.
