How to Participate in the Auction

Get ready for the auction! Now is the time to register for an account on GiveSmart, our auction platform, in order to be ready to bid on auction items. Click below or watch the video to find out how to create your account.

  • How to set up a GiveSmart Account

    GiveSmart is the platform that is managing the bidding for our Virtual Auction and Gala. If you buy a party package or sponsorship for the Virtual Gala, you will already have a GiveSmart account. If you did not buy a party package or sponsorship but would like to participate in the Online Auction, Best of Live raffle, LIVE auction, or Raise the Paddle, you will need to create a GiveSmart account. 

    To set up your GiveSmart account:

    Click here to visit our GiveSmart webpage.

    From the menu in the middle of the screen, click the button that says “Register to Participate.”

    At the pop up menu, click “No, I am not purchasing tickets, but would like to register to participate in the auction!”

    Enter your information, including your First and Last Name, mobile phone number, email address, and street address. Then create a username and password. 

    Please review and agree to the Terms and Conditions. You can also choose to opt in to receive text messages for bidding updates and special announcements. We highly recommend signing up to receive texts if you are planning to bid on Online Auction or LIVE Auction Items. 

    Then, click the button that says “Create my GiveSmart Account”.

Silent Auction: Online

From Feb. 23 - March 5, place your bid on one of our many online items. Online Auction items will only be available on our auction website, and the highest bidder/winner will be notified when the Online Auction closes on March 5. Online items may also be bought outright. When the GiveSmart Platform opens, you can find the list of Online items, along with Super Silent items, listed under category Silent Auction.

Silent Auction: Super Silent

On February 23, these highly sought-after Silent Auction items, including many of our travel items, will be open for bidding online. Items will remain open for bids through 7:45 p.m. on March 13, the evening of the virtual gala. Super Silent items may also be bought outright. When the GiveSmart Platform opens, you can find the list of Super Silent items, along with Online items, listed under category Silent Auction.

Party Boards

Party Boards, or Sign Ups, are available for purchase from February 23 through 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, the evening of the gala. A limited number of spots for special gatherings or parties are available to be purchased outright; no bidding necessary. Spots may be purchased through our auction website. When the GiveSmart Platform opens, you can find the list of Party Boards listed under category Sign Up Party.

Live Auction

The LIVE auction includes the best of the best! These exclusive items will only be available for bidding during the night of the Gala, Saturday March 13. All St. Andrew's community members will receive the link to the gala broadcast and can attend virtually, free of charge. The LIVE auction bidding will take place from approximately 8:15 – 9 p.m. Our auctioneer will announce the highest bid and winner for each item, which will also be reflected on the auction broadcast screen. When the GiveSmart Platform opens, you can find the list of our LIVE items listed under category Live Auction.

Best of Live!

Purchase a Best of LIVE ticket and you could win the Live auction item of your choice! Only 150 tickets are available for purchase at $100 each. The drawing for Best of LIVE will take place the night of the Gala, and the winner will choose the LIVE item of their choice. (Some restrictions may apply.) Purchase your Best of LIVE ticket on our auction website when the GiveSmart Platform opens!
