All students are able to work collaboratively or one-on-one to develop executive functioning and time management skills in an effort to help prepare the student and reduce pressure. The Education Center and the College Counseling office work together proactively to ensure the right fit for all students. Furthermore, the Education Center and the CTTL work together to stay on top of research in the area of academic strategies so that all students can realize their potential.
The Teaching and Learning Strategist position in the Lower School exists to provide support and guidance for students and teachers as well as advisory assistance to parents as we partner to uncover each child's unique learning profile. This support and guidance may take the form of specific and detailed observation of a child's functioning in the classroom, research and training to enhance a teacher's "toolkit" of strategies and approaches for individualizing the curriculum to meet the needs of each student, or collaboration with students, teachers, administrators and parents as together we discover and design the educational program that will help us to fully know and serve the needs of every student.
