Preschool Curriculum

Nurturing and Research-Informed

St. Andrew’s preschool program, serving students from 2 to 4 years old, provides a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where children are encouraged to safely explore and learn in developmentally appropriate ways. Through an increased understanding of early brain development, we know that a well-balanced curriculum rich in unstructured free play, self-guided discovery, and academic instruction helps to establish a strong foundation for learning and prepares young minds for the rigors of academic life. The benefits of a St. Andrew's preschool experience are:

  • A loving and supportive learning environment that inspires and encourages important social and emotional skills such as independence, creativity, curiosity, cooperation, perseverance, collaboration, and empathy
  • An inquiry-based curriculum and student-centered pedagogy that integrates learning in all the content areas while engaging student interests.
  • A well-rounded curriculum that includes music and movement, art, science, Physical Education, Spanish, and religion
