St.
Andrew’s is celebrating its 33rd year as an outstanding educational institution,
where the values of community, diversity and innovative
teaching
create a dynamic and engaging environment for our students.
Over
the years our mission has been — and continues to be — to reach each
individual
child. To succeed, we must focus our resources where they have
the
greatest impact on that mission — on our teachers and our students.
In
reaching out to the St. Andrew’s community for support, we make six
promises — promises
to our students, promises to our faculty, promises to you
who
believe in our mission. Each promise reflects an initiative that we
are
undertaking
to realize the promise St. Andrew’s holds for inspiring students,
for
deepening the skills and experience of our faculty, and for ensuring
that
we
ignite the spark in each child we touch.
To
keep our promises, we must fund and encourage great teaching — the
most
important part of a child’s education. We must inspire great
learning
with
an increasingly diverse and culturally rich group of students. And we
must
expand our tradition of service to each other and the larger
community.
In
short, we must encourage the Episcopal values of intellectual
inquiry,
service
and respect for every person in everything we do.
