Building community and more with Habitat for Humanity

18 students and four chaperones made the journey to Elk Park, North Carolina to work with Habitat for Humanity, July 8-14, 2007.

Highlights included whitewater rafting, waterfall swimming, community Bingo Night, shared meals, and lots of fun and games in the close quarters of the Habitat Community Center. On the job site, we build a deck railing, installed a roof, and did many other foundation and landscape chores to help make the dream of home ownership possible for a working family in Avery County.
