Six St. Andrew's Students Sign to Play College Athletics

St. Andrew’s Episcopal School held a Signing Day on Wednesday afternoon for members of the senior class who will be playing collegiate athletics next year. Five students signed National Letters of Intent while a sixth is a preferred walk-on at a Division I school for basketball.
 
Tyler Stewart became the first boys basketball player in school history to sign to play Division I basketball. The senior who helped the Lions to the MAC Championship last year will play at Binghamton University. Two other basketball players from last year’s title team signed as well as Austin Allen will play at Division III Washington College next season and George Muresan was offered a preferred walk-on spot at Georgetown University. 
 
A pair of lacrosse players also signed with Division III schools with Will Hughes headed to Hampden Sydney and Ethan Wallach going to Wittenberg. Not to be outdone, William Feigert signed to play tennis at Division III Connecticut College.
