'Diversity in the DMV' Conference Brings More Than 300 Attendees to St. Andrew's

A partnership between the Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning and the Office of Diversity, the third annual Diversity in the DMV conference drew more than 300 students, educators and administrators from 15 different schools in our region, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and North Carolina.
Diversity in the DMV highlights our school's mission-based commitment to inclusivity and the CTTL's mission-based commitment to providing high quality professional development focused research-based strategies for enhancing learning environments.

Diversity in the DMV has become a signature program of  St. Andrew's.  It was an exciting day for our campus, bringing together students and educators with a shared passion for diversity, equity, and inclusivity. It should be noted that in addition to the students from other schools, we will send a delegation of 20-25 students from our own upper school, and the students who attended the NAIS Student Diversity Leadership Conference will serve as breakout group facilitators for Diversity in the DMV, as they have since the first one.
