Six Delegates Represent St. Andrew's at Student Diversity Leadership Conference

Six Upper School St. Andrew's students flew to Tampa, FL to attend the National Association of Indepent Schools annual Student Diversity Leadership Conference (SDLC).  The conference gives the students the tools to lead professional development workshops, peer discussions, and speak to various constituencies about our school’s diversity goals and program.  SDLC was co-founded by Head of Middle School, Rodney Glasgow.  Mr. Glasgow currently serves as the co-chair of sold-out event that draws 1600 students to various cities annually.

Each student speaks of making new friends and having a renewed sense of themselves and their community.

The 2015 delgation consists of Bobby Radecki '16, Will Lucas '17, Ely Sibarium '17, John Joyner '17, Gillian Sanford '18, and Sydney Jackson '18.

Every year, St. Andrew’s students apply to attend the conference and are given the tools to lead professional development workshops, peer discussions, and speak to various constituencies about our school’s diversity goals and program.
