Dr. Kelleher's Article "Stress and the Learning Brain" Featured in Independent School Magazine
For the third time in less than a year, the research and teaching expertise of a St. Andrew's teacher was featured in the largest publication for independent schools in the United States , Independent School magazine . Dr. Ian Kelleher's article, "Stress and The Learning Brain" reflects St. Andrew's PS-12th grade teachers' training and understanding of the relationship between a student's emotions and academic achievement.
Dr. Kelleher now joins Rodney Glasgow who wrote,Why Middle School Is an Ideal Time to Teach Civic Engagement and Glenn Whitman who wrote, Assessment and the Learning Brain , as contributors to Independent School magazine.
