The St. Andrew's Golf Team finished the season with a strong showing by finishing in second place overall in the Mid-Atlantic Conference Championships at Montgomery Village Country Club. Tuesday the team traveled out to Montgomery Village Golf Club, where they competed against six other teams in the MAC. It was beautiful fall day and the success of the previous SAES teams created a lot of hope for the young Lions.

St. Andrew’s has won 4 championships in the last six years. Last year they finished in second place and were denied there usual place at the top. The team was hungry to compete for the title despite the fact they have only three seniors on this year’s team. Flint Hill shot an unbelievable team score of 307, which shattered the previous record of 317 shot by St. Andrew’s in 2009. St. Andrew’s was second with a score of 339.

The team is composed Freshman Adam Reiskin and Chris Jung. Sophomore Justin Gorton, Danny Knauss, Christopher Reneberg, Juniors Andrew Bubes, seniors Sam Spacassi, Jacob Reiskin and Richard Koch. The top three scorers for St. Andrew's School were Adam Reiskin and Chris Reneberg with 88, Justin Gorton with 86 and Captain Richard Koch with a team low of 77.

Richard earned a spot on the MAC All league team by finshing 3rd overall. This is the second time Richard has been named to the All League team. Richard has been a part of two MAC Championship teams and a second place team on two occasions. Congratulations to the Coach Ryan Gustin.
