St. Andrew's Sister School in Haiti is Dedicated

It has been less then two years since St. Andrew’s first formed its partnership with Christ Roi School in Civol, Haiti, and in that time, the small rural co-ed Episcopal school has undergone some tremendous changes. When it was announced that St. Andrew’s had a sister school on September 22, 2010, Christ Roi was a school that had no walls and classes had to be cancelled when it rained.

On Tuesday, September 11, 2012, a new brand new building was dedicated in Civol, giving the students a place they could go every day, regardless of weather, to learn and grow.

Lower School and Intermediate School Chaplain Betsy Gonzalez is in Haiti for the dedication and she will share a travelogue when she returns. We hope you’ll take the time to read about her trip and the extraordinary students that attend our sister school later this week.
