Asbestos Statement
In October 1986, the U.S. Congress enacted the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA). Regulations under this law require schools to inspect for friable and non-friable asbestos, report the findings, and develop management plans. St. Andrew's conducted an EPA-AHERA inspection in 2005 and no asbestos containing materials (ACM) or asbestos containing building materials (ACBM) were observed on campus.
EPA-AHERA regulations require that we notify parents, teachers and occupants of the school on the existence of an I & M Plan. This plan is available for review in the main school office.
