The St. Andrew’s community recognized distinguished achievement in the performing arts on Tuesday in an assembly that emphasized the school’s commitment to fostering students’ talent in areas involving choral music, public speaking, musical theatre, instrumental performance, dance, drama and technical theatre.

Work in the arts helps young people discover themselves. Working together in the theater or orchestra teaches collaboration and the value of working together for the greater good. Working singly at an easel or on a pottery wheel, students learn discipline and may experience the satisfaction of achieving their own artistic vision.
