Tour and interview with parent(s)
Please call the Admission Office to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. (In the case of bad weather, please read our inclement weather policy to see whether or not appointments will proceed as scheduled.)

Applicants to Grade 4 are required to submit one recommendation. Families should ask their child’s current teacher to complete a recommendation form. The teachers should return the forms directly to the Admission Office. Please note that the required recommendation must be from the applicant’s current teacher. Click here for the required recommendation form.
Supplemental letters may also be submitted, including any recommendations from former teachers, teachers of other subjects, extracurricular activity advisors, and/or coaches. For any additional recommendations, please use the form titled, “Common Recommendation Form for Students Applying to Independent Schools, entering grades 2-12” available here.

The transcript must include current trimester or semester grades and test scores. Please complete and submit the release form to your child’s current school. Click here for the transcript release form.
Testing
Applicants to Grade 4 are required to have a Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC IV) individually administered by an approved educational diagnostician at a testing service center. Click here for a list of local test centers.
