Lower School Program
As Head of the St. Andrew's Lower School, let me welcome you to our web site and thank you for inquiring about St. Andrew's as a place for your child. As you probably know, the St. Andrew's Lower School accepts children as young as two years old in its Preschool program and continues through 3rd grade. At that point students move to our Postoak Campus and the St. Andrew's Intermediate School.
The mission of the Lower School is to provide a nurturing educational foundation that is tailored to the individual needs and abilities of each child. Parents of young children who may be going to school for the first time are understandably concerned about how their children will adapt to a new environment. In our experience, the children adapt very quickly. Our teachers provide a caring, nurturing environment that makes each child feel special. Parents tell us that the school is "the right fit" for their child because he or she cannot wait to come to school each day.
