St. Andrew's Episcopal School - Academics

St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is an independent, coeducational day school in Potomac, Maryland whose purpose is to challenge and nurture students of diverse abilities and interests in Preschool- Grade 12. Intermediate School Program

Welcome to the St. Andrew’s Intermediate School web site. Currently the Intermediate School includes the 4th and 5th grades. Eventually it will also include the 6th grade, which is now part of our Middle School.

The St. Andrew’s Intermediate School focuses on the important developmental stage of the pre-teenager. This is a time when children need both a nurturing and a challenging environment—where academic, social and emotional development are intertwined. During Intermediate School children are building confidence and learning to become independent thinkers.
