St. Andrew's believes a liberal arts approach to education--based on the four pillars of academics, art, athletics and spiritual life--encourages students to become independent thinkers and lifelong learners. From the youngest children in Preschool all the way through high school, we believe a balanced, challenging program within a supportive environment is the magic combination for educating thriving children.
Attention to the individual child, knowledge gained from our faculty's immersion in brain-based research on how children learn, and the love of our fine teachers help us structure our nurturing Lower School program. Our Middle School program addresses the developmental needs of early adolescents, while the challenging college-preparatory Upper School curriculum offers introductory to advanced courses to its range of students. We are particularly excited about designing just the right curriculum for the lively curiosity of the children who will fill our new 4th and 5th grades, in the Intermediate School, beginning in 2009.
Throughout St. Andrew's, all of our students have daily opportunities to explore the arts, to challenge their bodies, and--as our school motto says--to increase their minds and spirits.
